The City Clerk is the official keeper of the records for the City of Alma. The office maintains files of all public documents including official copies of the minutes of the City Commission, leases, contracts, agreements, easements, deeds and ordinances. These records are maintained for historical significance and are available for retrieval as necessary. In 2002, the City Clerk implemented an electronic agenda for City Commission meetings. This system is used to distribute paperless agendas to City Commissioners and administrative support staff. The agenda is also available to the public via the City's Web Site. |
