The City of Alma computerized its cemetery records. The files
listed below are in PDF format and are current as of February 2010. The
information in the files is based on the information provided the
cemetery sexton at the time of burial. The more recent files have
more complete information. In the past, not all the information was
collected because there was no need to collect it. If you have
information that you believe should be added to the records, send us
copies your documentation. We can not change the information based
on "hear-say" evidence. We need valid documentation to change
records.
The City does not keep death certificates. If you want a copy of
a death certificate, you will need to contact the
Gratiot County Clerk at (989)875-5215.
The records are in 26 files by the deceased last name. The files
for some letters (such as B, S, or W) are large. There are no
records for the letter X. Click on the letter below to download the
PDF file. The file is searchable in Acrobat Reader. Use the
